LET’S CLEAR THINGS UP

Your questions, answered.

About Ausbildung, learning German, and your pathway.

What is Ausbildung?+

Ausbildung is vocational training in Germany. In a dual program, you learn practical skills with an employer and attend a vocational school. Training usually takes two to three and a half years, depending on the occupation.

Do I need to speak German?+

German is important for workplace communication and vocational school. Ausbildung Global uses B1 as the entry point to its enrollment pathway. Individual employers and programs may require a higher level.

Can I start if I’m a complete beginner?+

Yes. Choose A0 when you create your profile. Your coaching dashboard helps you organize your preparation and work toward B1.

What happens when I reach B1?+

Update your self-declared German level in your account. You will move to the enrollment dashboard, where you can complete and submit an application. Your previous coaching history stays with your account.

Does submitting an application guarantee a place?+

No. Submitting an application records your interest and information. A training place depends on the program, employer requirements, eligibility, and any further selection process.

Is my German level assessed here?+

No. You choose your current level yourself. This portal does not certify your language ability. Employers or other institutions may ask for an approved language certificate.
